My Beach Must Haves

Now that summer is here, it’s time to talk about beach bag essentials. Nothing is worse than going to the beach unprepared, so here are 5 of my summer beach bag must-haves you should bring with you on your next beach trip!

1. SPF

Okay, this one may seem obvious, but…. you’d be surprised how many people still don’t wear sunscreen on the beach! All I know is that I will be bringing my SPF 30 & 50 sunscreen for both my face and body, and you should too!

2. Microfiber Towel

Ever hate the feeling of a terry cloth beach towel? Well, sometimes I find them uncomfortable during a long day in the sun. I opt for a softer microfiber towel that is light, airy and keeps me comfortable all day.

3. Hydroflask

One of the most important things to do during a long beach day is hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! That’s why my 32oz Hydroflask full of ice water is always in my beach bag. The heat and sun will cause you to sweat and dehydrate so it is super, super important to cool down and drink water!

4. My Favorite Bag

My go to bag for the summer has to be a canvas tote! They are cute, lightweight, and super trendy right now. They fit anything and everything I need to take to the beach with me, including a bikini, towel, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, and more!

5. The Perfect Snack

Lastly, a must have of mine for the beach has to be the snack! I like to pack snacks that will nourish and fuel my body so I always make sure to bring fresh fruits and veggies as well as mixed nuts. This combo is a perfect combination of sweet, salty, refreshing, and nourishing!
