5 Must-Do Travel Spots in 2023
2023 for me is all about adventures. I want to explore, see something new and inspiring and learn about our history and other cultures. I want to see more and experience as much as I can within and outside of our country. Because of this, I wanted to share a running list of travel spots on my 2023 list to help inspire you to do the same.
1. Madrid
Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a city that offers a unique blend of rich history and modern culture. From its beautiful parks and gardens, such as Retiro Park, to its renowned art museums, Madrid has a lot to offer for everyone! Additionally, the city is known for its delicious cuisine, including signature dishes such as paella and tapas. Because of this and many more reasons, Madrid is at the top of my list this year!
2. Vietnam
Vietnam is full of rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty. From the bustling cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to the breathtaking landscapes of Ha Long Bay and the Mekong Delta, you can experience city life and the tropics all in one place. In addition, Vietnam is also known for amazing food as well as its vibrant history and culture. While traveling through Vietnam you can explore ancient temples and historical sites, learn about its fascinating culture through traditional festivals and markets, or even relax on one of its pristine beaches.
3. Chicago
Chicago is a lively city that offers a diverse array of cultural, recreational, and culinary experiences. With stunning architecture, including buildings such as the Willis Tower (formerly known as Sears Tower) and the John Hancock Center, to world-renowned museums, the city offers something for everyone in your group. A huge plus if you’re a foodie like me is that Chicago is known for its deep-dish pizza and a thriving foodie scene. Of course, you cannot forget about the bean! This is my top attraction I must see when I get to Chicago this year.
4. Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is a breathtaking national park with stunning natural beauty and views. Here in California you can do anything from towering granite cliffs and cascading waterfalls to checking out the park’s diverse wildlife and scenic meadows. Yosemite is definitely a nature lover’s paradise. You can explore scenic hiking trails and take in the beauty from scenic overlooks. If you’re looking for adventure and beauty, definitely add Yosemite National Park to your travel list this year!
5. Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon National Park, located in the state of Arizona is a natural wonder that offers a unique blend of stunning landscapes and rich cultural history. From its amazing views of the canyon's towering cliffs and intricate rock formations, to its diverse wildlife and scenic trails, the Grand Canyon is a must-have destination for everyone. You can explore the park by hiking or even taking a scenic drive. Whether you are looking for adventure, history, or even a chance to experience nature, the Grand Canyon National Park should definitely be on your list.
